For the past couple of years, I have stopped by Back to the Past (www.backtothepast.biz) in Redford, MI for FCBD. The owner, Andy Cirinesi, has been a good friend of mine since our high school days, and the store is approaching its 20th anniversary, a remarkable feat by any standard but especially amazing because few stores that opened during the speculator boom of the early 90s still survive today. The store is also branching out as a pop culture entertainment website (www.backtothepast.tv).Arriving around noon, the store was already in the grip of a successful event, as parking had already become a challenge. But the 15K+ square foot interior allowed plenty of room for the crowd, who enjoyed not only selecting their free comics but also free balloons and cookies! Hi, Aaron, you won’t be able to store non-Amazon content at Amazon Cloud thus you’ll be left with 6 GB of space for your videos, photos, etc. – my phone has more space. Here’s what we already know about Kindle Fire to consider:1. Kindle Fire doesn’t have microSD slot that, for example, Nook Color has thus it is stuck with 6 GB usable internal storage unlike Nook Color that can get up to 32 GB card in. Kindles are made to be almost like a “dumb terminal” of the past to make sure you’re tied up to Amazon’s storage on the web (for which you need Wi-Fi connection to get to) and you can only store content you get from Amazon there, not other files. Quoting Amazon on Kindle Fire: “Free cloud storage for all Amazon content”. Get it, Amazon content?2. The stats of how long the battery can last (Kindle Fire theory is 7.5 hours) are taken with Wi-Fi off. It will last only about 3 hours if you use it to access content from their Cloud storage over Wi-Fi.3. Amazon can spy on your web activity through their new cloud-integrated web browser of Kindle Fire.4. VERY IMPORTANT â lack of microSD slot means that if you decide to root your Kindle Fire, youâll have to root the actual device thus there will be no coming back. On Nook Color, you can make it boot from a ârootedâ microSD card and if you want to get back to the original Nook you can just take out the card and reboot.5. Kindle Fire doesn’t have a camera.6. Kindle Fire has about 70% less usable screen area than iPad 2.7. Kindle doesn’t support eBooks in ePub format that is the most used format in the world.8. Kindle app store contains only Amazon approved apps and it does not include (and will not include) Netflix app that iPad has and Nook Color is getting thus again you’re stuck with Amazon content only.9. Amazon confirmed that you cannot download/stream anything to Kindle Fire when traveling outside US.10. Amazon says it will review every app in its Appstore for Fire compatibility, as part of an automated process. Rejected apps will include those that rely on a gyroscope, camera, WAN module, Bluetooth, microphone, GPS, or micro SD. Apps are also forbidden from using Google’s Mobile Services (and in-app billing), which, if included, will have to be “gracefully” removed. In terms of actual content, Amazon has outlawed all apps that change the tablet’s UI in any way (including theme- or wallpaper-based tools), as well as any that demand root access.11. I’d recommend waiting for Nook Color 2 that is rumored to be released by Barnes & Noble shortly.

I made full use of the facilities and when my membership expired i HAD to renew. I mean clicking on a profile to see the XXX box again just made me hyperventilate..i was 5 hours nonVIP and then i paid month to month for ages….a few months ago i took advantage of the Lifetime membership as i KNOW I’m gonna be a lifer here…chat to so many people and met so many friends that this place feels like home to me now.In chat, too, you get them tryin to cheat the system….asking for yahoo/msn….so they can "chat" (erm, scooz me but we’re IN a chatroom) or "mail me some pics" (erm I’m VIP you CAN mail me)My response to them? Simple!I pay for the privilege of being VIP so i dont need to give out personally identifiable information, if you want to mail me, do it here and if you want to chat, come back in here….i never ignore anyone lots take the huff and say they ‘dont get online that often so couldnt chat’ erm well WHY do ya want my MSN???I’m in chat every day, when at home i log in at LEAST twice, sometimes 3 times a day…and the days i only log in once its coz i just STAY online for the whole day anyone wants to chat to me…..I’m in there always and if they want to mail me…..well you, Maureen, and Jayce, Leece, Karen, Kiwi et al KEEP the site running smoothly as much as possible and offer ways of contact for ANYONE willing to stop being a lazy-stuck-up-their-own-arse-coz-THEYRE-too-special-to-need-to-try-PRAT*steps of her soap box for now*Again Maureen….YOU, my darlin woman, are absolutely FANTASTIC!(if it were me and i saw anyone posting a comment like that, im enough of a cow to just remove their membership, ftr, lol)

SEXYADS isn’t a prison. Anyone not satisfied with the site can leave at any time and go elsewhere. They aren’t forced to purchase a VIP membership for one month or for a lifetime. I do not understand why people will bitch and raise hell and try to cheat the system and then stay with it. If you don’t like it here, LEAVE!I think the reason they try and cheat the system here is because it’s worth it! NO other site on the internet can come close to topping SEXYADS. Just try going some other place and getting an answer to your question from a real person… it ain’t gonna happen. No one even knows who owns the other websites. Maureen and Jayce are known far and wide here and are willing to help anyone they can. Jayce and other SEXYADS employees even help people with their own personal computer settings so they can access all that SEXYADS has to offer. Try getting that at the other websites.Personally… when I see an ad with the email address disguised, I report it. Call me a tattle tale if you want but I PAY good money for my membership because I want access to all the great features here and no one else is too good to pay too.
